Old Star Trek rocked. Recent Star Trek is woke dreck.
Loved Lt. Uhura as a character. I thought it was cool that she was a beautiful Black Woman. She could kick ass and still be feminine.
The stupid storytellers of today think they are being so original by writing weakly drawn, women of color characters who defy physics and denigrate men. They have no idea what real female strength is.
R.I.P. Nichelle Nichols.
I have to admit that I am not finding many reasons to hate "Strange New Worlds". I know most of the cast are liberal fucks in real life, but they really nailed the old Trek feeling in that show. The amount of woke shit interjected by the little faggots that have to insert modern political bullshit every 17 seconds due to a lack of writing talent is very minimal.
To be clear, I suggest "ahoy matey, yarrg" viewing of the show ... I do not recommending funding them ... it's certainly worth checking out if you like TOS. I suspect they had to release a show like 'Strange New Worlds' to subsidize the train wreck that is Discovery ... they went all in on that show and they don't have the balls to cancel it at this point. Fucking Stacey Abrams would probably eat them if they'd give that show the premature death it deserves.
Watched the Picard drivel and swore off Star Trek as a whole. Interesting take on SNW.
I've heard the same from my friend who also recommends Strange New Worlds. I think they're finally playing it safe in favor of having actual viewership.
She had an interview of what she thought about her role and Hollywood as a whole
