I agree that having some like DeSantis as VP would be great. Would also set him up to take over. I also love having based Governors and he is one of the best.
I have High Hopes for Kari Lake too. If she does the things she claims to want too, she will be right up there with the best governors.
Ok let me try to change your mind. She was asked this question the other day on Newsmax while I was watching. Have you ever listened to her explanation? She said she was sick of the Iraq and Afghanistan war and the lies being told about it, and when she looked at Obama and NoName in 2008, being from Arizona, she knew NoName was NOT going to end the war. He never met a war he didn’t like. She was fooled by Obama (as many were) and felt he would end the forever war. After that she flipped to independent, and then back to Republican. I find that to be an extremely plausible explanation.
IMO Trump needs Desantis as a backup.
I have looked at the arguments all different ways. Having Desantis as the backup is the best fortified defense/offense.
Take out Trump?... fine, go for it..
...and while you are busy taking out Trump, the copilot will fly the plane now.
Plan on this happening.

She has a track record as a flip flopper, Republican --> Democrat --> Republican
When I hear her talk, I hear an actor being dramatic.
Change my mind....

I don't see her being solid enough for VP.
