Alternatively, perhaps this demonstrates what "not voting" for someone who's unpopular but also "not voting" for anyone else does -- enables the unpopular candidate to win. (Side benefit, this gives the Dems a gauge of how much effort their gonna have to expend to get THEIR OWN voters to vote for her in November.)
