Don’t forget about water, especially if you are stockpiling any dried/dehydrated foods. Stockpiling some is feasible, I get a couple 3 packs of gallons sometimes when I go to the grocery store, and store them in the basement covered. Should last “indefinitely”.
And a plan on where locally to bring buckets to fill and a way to filter and disinfect it.
We have some food but not sure how much to prep. We have one young adult child still leaving with us and I know our son and his family (wife & her 2 little ones) will need help if/when shtf because they never stock up on anything, they go by weekly and that’s it. I told him to start grabbing a few extras to store whenever he goes shopping. He probably thinks I’m a little nuts at times, I know he hears what I say and will say “yes” to me, but does what he wants anyway.
The people in occupied countries during WWII lived off of soup- 4+ years of supply issues & theft they got used to not having meat or sweets. Soup & bread is what they survived off of. Stock up on dried soup packets
I agree. That stuff is very expensive and extremely heavy on (cheap starchy) carbs. And who cares if it will keep for 25 years? I don't think we would have to worry about surviving 25 years of Madmaxville.
You arn't going to need 1 years worth of food if everyone goes ape shit and starts killing everyone.
Defend yourself best you can, but it takes a village to protect a community.

That is so raw! Trump is the ultimate troll.
I've tried a lot of prepper food and to be honest it tastes normal to good. Wouldn't say great but most certainly ok.
We either win in November or we'll need much more.

Water doesn’t store indefinitely.

Watch the water!
Sometimes I think Q meant, watch the water supply, as in coming water scarcity. Not my final belief on it but one I've contemplated
