I just started a new job with a cancer research company that is completely virtual. After a week on the job, they’re asking for a vaccine card. Nothing in the job posting, 7 individual interviews, and my contract says a thing about a Covid policy.
They’re trying to make me apply for a religious or medical exemption and I’m going to throw their own insurance coverage policy in their faces as a medical exemption.
Hard to find workers these days. I suggest you tell them what you told us and then tell them to F off. Wonder if you can sue them for not disclosing this sooner as they wasted your time.
I think they know it’s a problem. I told them there was nothing documented that this would be required. They’ve been silent for a day on it. I explicitly told them as a disabled veteran, sharing personal HIPAA info is not something I do Willy nilly and could violate the ADA
I sure will. If they try and force an "exemption", I'm going to put together a package of all the scientific literature showing how absolutely fucked all the vaxxed are.
Any time they ask I would just play dumb and say “that’s really inappropriate question, I’m not comfortable answering, you can contact my doctor for my medical records,” etc

For the amount of money Vs the amount of work, it’s definitely a good deal.

Exactly!! Even threaten a call to HR. Haha.they hate that
