My Daughters best friend has a son who has been badly affected by a terrible tragedy that happened at his school yesterday. He is 10. A boy in the next grade was found by his teacher after she went looking for him when he didn’t return from the bathroom. He had committed suicide with a knife and was already dead when his teacher found him. He was just 11. My God. What is happening to our children? Apparently he was being bullied. Please pray for his loved ones as they try and cope with this, his classmates and many others. Thank you.

I’ve found out more. Both his Mother and Aunt work at the school. In fact, his Aunt is a friend of my Daughters and had just returned from maternity leave. The school is fitted with an emergency system so when it is activated, the children know to get under their desks, the doors on each classroom are locked and shutters/curtains are lowered virtually sealing the children inside. They could hear the sirens and Police outside because I guess at this point you would expect someone had attacked him. For two hours they had to remain in this situation. My Daughters friend said her son is so traumatised with this ‘lock-in’. The child that killed himself turned 11 just last week. The school also has a therapy dog. The boys friends said he had been telling them he was going to do it, but they told no one. What a burden they will carry for the rest of their lives. Our children, our most precious gifts from God are being offered up as sacrifices for a very sick and evil society. One day we will find out what Q meant when he said ‘Watch the water’.
