I’m at work and can’t listen to the crap that I know he is spewing. But I know it’s full of lies. Waiting for more news to hear what he’s actually saying but wanted to see if anyone else hear this announcement and how he’s trying to destroy California further? I cannot wait to see how God redeems all of this and takes these criminals down!
Here's an article about what he is proposing:

Probably just be a huge money grab like all his other projects.
We've hit like one or two 90 degree days this whole summer here in the bay area. Global warming my ass!
The water problems in western states have nothing to do with climate change. A lot of that area is desert. There isn't supposed to be water there. This is why there are not many animals that choose to live in deserts. Western states have been importing water from outside sources but the supply can no longer keep up with demand. The population in Las Vegas increased by 750,000 people in the last 4 years. This is another example of humans attempting to outsmart nature and failing.
Snowfall in the Rockies has been pretty good the last couple years, but the water level in Lake Mead keeps going down. Western cities cannot continue to expand unless they figure out a new way to get water. City managers know this, but they play dumb because nobody wants to tell a mayor that the city needs to stop building new sub-divisions.
The biggest problems are North central Utah with Salt Lake City and southern Nevada with the Las Vegas area. The problem is that the Mormons founded both. The same goes for Southern California, Central and extreme southeastern Arizona, and Central New Mexico. All of them are major population centers. The major problem is with Las Vegas as the Strip uses too much water.
With that said, California does get more than enough rain in the northern and central part of the state, but the government has caused major problems in the state which makes it impossible to live in California. What should happen is a lot of the people should be moved to the Midwest including the Dakotas, Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, and Kansas.
Part of the reason why this area is a desert is because it is part of the Great Basin which is surrounded by mountains to the west, south, and east with the Colorado Rockies making up the eastern boundary. These mountains create rain shadows which leads to deserts.
Then there is the Delta Smelt that MUST be protected by pouring billions of gallons of fresh water straight into the Pacific. Here is an old article on the subject:
