Excerpt from United States Senate document #264:
"It is bad news to learn from our leading authorities that 99 percent of the American people are deficient in these minerals, and that a marked deficiency in any one or more of the important minerals actually results in disease. Any upset of the balance, any considerable lack of one or another element, however microscopic the body requirement may be, and we sicken, suffer, shorten our lives."
To explain what each mineral does and which ones we are deficient in is a long study in itself. A good starting point would be to begin reading articles written by Dr. Mercola about mineral deficiencies.
As far as supplementation there are a plethora of Trace minerals multi supplements. Buy a good one that you can afford.
You don't need to do that..research Himalayan pink salt..has over 80 trace minerals in it.. not expensive...I bought big jars of it as I use it to gargle with each night..on my food etc never use ordinary salt
Minerals need to be bound to carbon (made organic) by a plant before your body can use them. I’m afraid this salt is not beneficial.
You have to get your minerals from plants and animals who’ve eaten plants, and animals that ate those animals.
Be aware anyone reading the above comment, Pink Himalayan Salt does not have Iodine, which is necessary for humans.

It does contain iodine.,. I have never heard of minerals having to come from plants..but I use it in my veggies and salads
Absolutely right bc the good salt has iodine in it.
I eat it every day. Research the required percentages that you actually get from that and get back to me.
there IS a plethora. There IS a box of eggs. There IS a car full of people. etc.
Thank you for the correction. You have done your small part in making the world a better place. They'll never be able to take these accomplishments away from you. I ain't bin lernin rite. :-)
Edit: I just looked at a bunch of your comments and you are a grammar Nazi. It's hilarious. Keep up the good work! 😂😂😂
