Our founding fathers revolted over a sales tax on one good. We tax everything.
When it's earned, as income. When it's spent, as sales. When it's saved, as inflation. When it's invested, as capital gains. And when we die, as inheritance.
In some places, we're taxed at the city, county, state and federal levels. This goes well beyond the Declaration. This is worse than the infamous King John and his violations of God-granted liberty--against whom the Magna Carta was written, birthing the very concept of human rights.
If we don't stand against this, we enslave our children and their children's children for the next 500 years.
Actually it is way, way worse..
