Mindy Robinson: · How did Anne Heche become “brain dead” from a lack of oxygen when she’s on video sitting up and trying to break free from her restraints? Why were firemen loading her up instead of medical personnel? Why did her boyfriend originally say she was going to pull through? Why did the last person to see her say she didn’t seem impaired at all?
And all this while currently making a movie about human trafficking and being the ex of Ellen Degenerous a known government media asset. (My favorite was when Ellen was the only person allowed to interview the only witness to the Las Vegas shooting after he ran off to Mexico and announced for him that he would never do another interview.) Yea, totally not weird and worth digging into.
Ok. Let’s say it wasn’t a body bag…heard a report the firemen on the scene were fighting the fire for over 30 minutes and did not retrieve the victim until after that 30 minutes. I would expect her to be suffering from smoke inhalation at the least which means paramedics would be addressing her ABCs…Airway, Breathing, Circulation in that order. It’s difficult to maintain a patent airway or monitor breathing while being fully shrouded in a sheet/bag. I would expect to see blisters, charred skin, burned hair, etc. if she suffered head trauma I would expect to see blood, typically a lot of blood. None of that is visible. I am not convinced of the story. I can’t put my finger on it but there’s something hinky/strange about the scene: lots of fire trucks & firemen, few police, few medics, few bystanders…
You hit the nail on the head. Clear airway and stabilizing the neck are key in this kind of trauma.
yes, it bothers me not to see them throwing Os on as soon as they were clear of the fire zone. but it's hard to judge the priorities not seeing what they were up against. if she was talking to them that means she has an airway.
her skin is roasted, that you can see from far away. the hair looked matted, could be singed?
blunt head trauma in a car wreck is common. the bleeding is internal. the firefighters are likely dual-trained, so those guys were likely medics, but with that many rigs on scene you'd expect a few more would be be helping with the patient.
you should not see bystanders within a city block. police and fire would have immediately barricaded the area for safety.
what is weird is 60 response rigs. for one vehicle. and that long extrication. it does sort of have a lady Di vibe.
