I am not surprised! I had Verizon about 15 years ago, big long story but they are so corrupt, they overcharge you, they want you to pay the bill, and then maybe they’ll give you your money back afterwards. Anytime I get a chance to trash on Verizon I do it. So here I am lol!
Tell you something else. They farm it out to some company for customer service That company's CEO was a thief from a power company and got caught siphoning money and stealing data.
The customer service company one time (maybe more than once) got their servers and equipment stolen because their security is lax and or maybe on purpose. Several big guys from the customer service floor had to go help secure perimeters and protect the server room before police arrived. I think the CEO probably hired the hit so they can sell out the account information (cannot substantiate, of course).
Did you expect them to let the clients know that their info got stolen? Hell no.
I’m not surprised at any of that.
I was working for waste management as an executive assistant. I got a corporate phone, but the difference was I was paying for it myself. So I got the discount but it was still my personal phone.
I had gone round and round with them with my bill so many times, I finally blew up at them big time! They recorded the message and actually played it back to my boss to try to get me in trouble. once they found out that it wasn’t a corporate phone, and I was paying for it myself, shit hit the fan!
My boss stood by me, I ended my account with them, and moved on immediately. Garbage human beings garbage company garbage ethics!
Let's expose them all.
Now they farm everything out to India. Try calling and talk to someone and see. You cannot understand their English.
I use pay as you go phone on everything. When someone asked me for info, I tell them they don't need to know. LOL
