If "just voting" isn't enough then the system has failed and needs to be rebuilt. We should only have to give a shit about politics every couple of years and even then if "our guys" lose we should shrug, say "eh we'll get em next time" and continue on with our lives. THAT is how it's supposed to function.
That said, if he's talking specifically for the middies this year, then okay I guess, but what exactly does "getting in the fight" entail?
Some days this guy is ON IT. Then there's posts like this that cause me to raise a brow...
"If "just voting" isn't enough then the system has failed and needs to be rebuilt."
It has failed. And it does need to be rebuilt.
"We should only have to give a shit about politics every couple of years and even then if "our guys" lose we should shrug, say "eh we'll get em next time" and continue on with our lives. THAT is how it's supposed to function."
Agreed. That's how it's supposed to function. But it didn't function that way in 2020. And probably many times previously.
"...what exactly does "getting in the fight" entail?"
That's the million-dollar question that we all ask.
