If you want to be like David, like a champion of God, this is the way to do it...
David himself said this: If I had not believed I would see the goodness of God in the land of the living I would have despaired...
He refused to let go of that hope...
Guard that today, Patriots...
Your faith is a treasure within you and it should be treated as such...
Take courage in these turbulent times. Laugh, make a meme, go put your feet in the grass and remember to take a deep breath...
Wait on God...
There is an end to this war on the horizon...
It's not permanent...
Good things are coming...

This is refreshing. I've recently been trying to get my mind back on the world around me instead of the one in my phone. A few days ago, I ordered a new 3D printer just so I would have something to tinker with. It's helping me remember that it's good to give your head a break. Work with your hands instead of the computer for a day if you can spare the time.
I absolutely agree...I've just recently(a couple of days) decided to build a small water feature in a little corner of the property...Have to take some time out as difficult as it may be...😉 Don't sleep very well anymore...😎
This is a big part of why Camp Yesu will get away from computers aside from job searches for and resumes.
I am making myself a sign that says "Remember to Hope". I literally need the reminder to look up from the screen and appreciate the moment we live in, give thanks and intentionally hope for a bright future. Every time I remember Hope it is like suddenly turning a corner and finding sunshine on what had been a bleak, dull, gray day.
Amen
It's not really a choice. David saw the truth that the giant had a weakness. He was strong up close but was weak at distance.
The army was scared but David saw the truth and trusted that truth. God is truth. David stepped out in faith and won.
How can we do any different. We are fighting a giant but he has a major weakness. He is only a giant in the shadows. That giant is fearsome only because we allow it to scare us.
Fear not.
For God is with us
One day soon, we may have to choose to do something instead of waking to choose to believe or not
A friend just sent me this… appropriate for this post 🙂 https://youtu.be/cdcjcFBKwd4
It never made sense to not 1. Believe in God and 2. To have hope.
Regardless of how crappy the situation is, are you better off not having hope or faith? Did it take away anything from you to have faith or hope?
the reason why optimists are often more successful than pessimists is bc optimists don’t give up. If you hold on long enough, the pendulum will swing in the other way.
