I think we should take this a step further. The world began to crumble when useless information became useful in the public's eyes.

Human beings put a lot of value into facts. A lot of facts have no value when presented in a debate.

Stats can tell us any story we want to hear. Human beings are emotional before logical.

What a lot of people use "facts" for.

They look for facts to justify their emotions. If people look inward at a deeper level.

They will learn that a lot of their point of view is very irrational, to begin with.

When people react to feelings (which can change in minutes) I see that as a child who never learned how to grow up. You know, like a temper tantrum in a 2-year old.
