California is banning the sale of gas-powered cars. Existing gas-powered cars will be legal for as long as their owners can keep them running. The idea is to gradually have all cars in CA be zero-emission by 2050 or something. However, I'm sure CA will find a way to "encourage" the owners of gas-powered cars to make the switch sooner rather than later. Regardless, this will be very disruptive to the citizenry and their economy, but the Dems don't care. Just look at what their doing with their water management.
