You’re right and you’re wrong. While vaccination has been required, there are also exemptions from them. No such exemption is given for Covid.
You might want to go double check that. In many school districts, only medical exemptions are allowed. If someone is allergic to a component of the covid vaccine, they can be allowed a medical exemption as well.
Religious exemptions have to be honored by law. I’d also argue philosophical exemptions should be allowed in every state, but only a handful allow it.
Again, you need to actually go look up the exemptions. There are quite a few states who do not allow religious exemptions from vaccines.
