There is something you should know. CA used to buy excess power from WA state, which is awash in clean hydroelectric power from dams along the Columbia river. (Built back when the left didn't hate America as much).

Well guess what, CA no longer buys this power. That's right there's plenty of power available but they choose not to use it. Hydroelectric power is no longer green cuz ... fish. Even though fish ladders still allow the salmon to migrate upstream.

To compensate for the loss of revenue, the WA state locals are generating hydrogen gas as well as mining bitcoin from the excess power.
