Honestly... even though I do play in the number circles, unless 8 by itself plays a part, it is just symbolism on [their] part as it is on our part, aka an "offset". [They] do not deserve an 8, and we, as a group (not knocking individuals) have not earned it, either. However... I leave room for what i do not know...
