In that sense, I was lucky, the company I work for made a memo that they would follow guidelines but vaccination was a personal decision.

Unfortunately, shortly before covid started, my bosses decided to go insane in other areas (ex: adding redundancy claiming that it would increase efficiency) and had made the decision that my time with the company was coming to an end. So, I wound up stuck at a company that I no longer wanted to work with for 2+ years because I didn't come across an offer good enough to swap to account for the risk that I might be stuck making a difficult decision while on a 'probation' period.
