Now, no golfer ever wears his cleats away from the course. Not even ordinary guys on public courses using rented clubs. The cleats are sharp and tear up everything they touch, plus you'll wear them down walking on pavement and stuff.
Nobody would ever wear their cleats in a car or on an airplane.
Most golf shoes these days don’t have metal spikes in them anymore. You can still get them but they're banned for amateurs and what we have now are soft spikes/rubber. They look like golf shoes but they can be worn just like sneakers anywhere. Most golfers don’t wear them as sneakers though except at the course and in the clubhouse. Most people change them because they’re dirty and wet a lot of times from the course. You don’t want all that in your car. So that would lead me to believe Pres Trump was fixing to go play rather than finished a round but he is the Pres, so he may have to hightail it at any time which may result in going straight from course to plane. Anyway, they do look like golf shoes but they’re probably soft spikes.
In the video https://youtu.be/wduhgudI7-4, Trump does appear to be wearing his golf cleats, just as 4chan said.

Strange.

Even soft spikes are really slippery on tile and terrazzo. Experience.
