From my understanding, it's coming. But the Church won't be here to stop it. The gates of hell can not stand against the church. The aftermath of the church being removed is going to cause chaos, and that will be one of the solutions. That comes from my own research of scriptures, and not any popular books (which I know of but never read), or a message, or some other means.
Claiming that there's no event such as The Rapture, or claiming that The Church is never raptured at all is downright showing a total ignorance of The Bible.
I'd love to hear what you think Revelations, as well as a very significant part of OT prophecy (such as Daniel) and New Testament Gospels are about if not referencing Tribulation and Rapture.
People tend to misunderstand what Apocalyptic literature means in the bible.
Most people think the apocalypse means the end of the world.
What apocalypse means is something completely different.
The word apocalypse means to uncover or reveal. If you received a true apocalyptic vision you would suddenly see the true nature of something that was hidden to you before.
So in that sense it is the end of the world AS YOU KNEW IT.
The book of revelation is full of symbolic literature. Some of the symbols are explained within the book. Just as
1:20 Stars and angels, lampstands are churches.
17:1 The great prostitute is Babylon.
We can't understand the book of Revelation unless we understand how the people at the time understood Apocalyptic literature.
We tend to take a very literal view which is not the way the people at the time understood it when writing or reading.
A simple example for today would be the saying it is raining cats and dogs.
We know that is not talking about literal cats and dogs. But 1000 years from now if someone were to dig something up that said it was raining cats and dogs what would they think?
Thanks for asking, I'll give you a bunch of points based on what I believe:
Based on your own scripture you posted above, the dead are "fallen asleep" - they are NOT in Heaven... looking down (in disgust I might add) at this sinful world. Just like Jesus said about Lazurus... he was "sleeping" even though he was dead.
There is NO everlasting burning hell either. Everyone who has died (except a couple of people) is "asleep" in their graves, not in Heaven or Hell. (aka - there is no eternal life w/o Jesus' blood/grace... that includes Hell)
There will be a Harvest of those asleep and alive. In fact, there will be TWO resurrections from the graves, one for the Righteous, who will be caught up in the clouds with Jesus upon his glorious return - changed bodies (old bodies in graves -> new bodies), and will be with Him forever and ever. The other resurrection will be for the wicked (unsaved) also from their graves. For those alive at the time of His return, they will bypass the FIRST DEATH and will be taken directly - during His return... not before, not after...during. I think that many people believe this to be the "Rapture", but the false teachings seep in to trick and seduce believers.
After the judgment there is a SECOND DEATH (death is not life everlasting even in hell) where the wicked will be cast into the lake of fire... where the SMOKE of their torment will RISE forever and ever(the Bible doesn't say they will be tortured for ever and ever. If it did, I would throw it in the trash because that's not a God I want to know or worship.) They will be CONSUMED by the fire and brimstone (Hell) and will cease to exist. (I believe that this ceasing to exist will actually be so complete that it will be as if they NEVER existed at all. That's why those who do gain eternal life will live in love and peace w/o sorrow (remembrance of those they loved who didn't make it.) That part is logical thinking on my part, but it makes sense once you discard the false teachings of "the Church").
I have more, but I'll stop here for now. Believing in some pre/post Tribulation "Rapture" is false teaching. It implies that if you are somehow "left behind" you'll get a "second chance". That is simply not true. When the Sanctuary is cleansed and the final moment arrives, you'll either be on one side or the other... no second chances.)
I never claimed the Bible says Trinity, but thanks for making my point. The Bible doesn't say Rapture or Trinity... yet it's all over the (man-made) "Churches" (many of the same "churches" who told their flock to go get the f-ing jab.).
While I agree with you, the Bible says otherwise...

There is no rapture!
If you disagree please post the scripture that mentions it by name.
Arguing that there's no, "rapture" simply because The Bible doesn't use that term verbatim is incredibly obtuse for the sake of being obtuse.
The Bible repeatedly refers to The Church being taken up in, "the great snatch" - from the greek word of harpazo. This verse is one of the most frequently referred to in reference to The Rapture.

Check out this cute little 6 minute video that helps explain what Apocalyptic Literature really is. https://bibleproject.com/explore/video/apocalyptic-literature/

There are a lot of words that aren't in the Bible.
Including the word "Bible."
No THIS is a high-quality post... /s
No point in arguing about it.
So with that logic, there is no point in Q either, right?
phhhhttt.
BTW - you won't find the word Trinity either.

I'll stick to the Bible, thanks.

Watch the video. Dr. Gene Kim is one of the greatest DEEP Bible Studiers of our time.
I concur. Dr. Kim brings the goods. I just shared this same video up above. I share it as often as possible.
No thanks. To me, that's like listening to MSM. Sorry, but that's how I feel/believe based on scripture, not the teaching of man.
exactly, it even says some of us will lose our lives for his name.. Trust in the Lord, even until our very last breath.. Jesus is salvation.
