That looks like the procession from when she arrived from Scotland. That was at night and apparently the Queen had asked for the hearse to be illuminated so that her casket could be seen if it was dark. That night she was received at Buckingham Palace by her family. The next day she was moved to Westminster Hall for public viewing of the casket.
ETA: Here's an article where you can see that the hearse arrived back in London at night. https://archive.ph/miYdg
Is this standard practice do you think, or is it only practiced by those that have done things that might cause others to want to “UNFORSEE” them for ??
I’m sure that’s true. .. am just confused by timing.. the “Live” broadcast was in the dark and this time of year I would assume at the end of the day dark.. the gentleman said it’s light out.. would assume he meant Still Light out or it would have been Very early.. if so that would be a tape delay of 18 to 24 hours.. I wouldn’t think they’d delay that long on this big of news..asking you ADog because I follow your posts and have come to respect your perspective
...I am at a disadvantage because I am in a location where internet connectivity is almost nil and live feeds are impossible so I have not seen one minute of the Queens interment...
...I agree, I was assuming that the delay was an hour or two....
...and a State Funeral after dark is unheard of in my experience....
..,please message me the timeline of what you saw here in the States and I will forward the information to my British anons and lets see how the two locations line up....
That was alot of horse shit she was dragged through. Quite a compelling aligory. All her life we only remember the evil she had done and the shielding of the guilty she had protected. She could have been remembered for good things. But she chose infamy instead. I'm saddend for the people of Britain
Makes it easy to lower a casket at a particular time.....
