I received a message from a family member this morning saying that Google and Youtube has been flagged as Malicious!
I looked it up to see if I can find anything about it, and a few articles popped up (using bing, not google to search).

According to Malwarebytes, Google and Youtube seem to have malware messing them up.

Has anyone else heard this or have any other information on this?
windows user problems lol, try linux
I've used Windows for 30 years and have never had a single virus. I also have never used any type of anti-virus program. Safe computer prevents almost all infections.
I would move to Linux, but most of the software necessary for my work and play don't have Linux versions.
i hear what you're saying, but windows takes like 5 of my 8 gigs of ram, it is the virus lol. I play modded skyrim, elden ring, minecraft on debian, just have to use the proton patches through Steam. i also do rust, php and godot development. just something to think about :)
I can download files, play MP3 files, copy a bunch of files from one place to another, and work on my book all at the same time with no problem. And also have 40 or 50 browser windows open as well. I do lots of research. Maybe you need more RAM. I built my computer over 10 years ago, and it has 8GB of RAM.
I don't play games, but I have created a good number of my own websites and have done a lot of HTML and a little PHP programming. I just use Wordpad to type up the HTML or PHP code, save it, and test it.
I do have a virtual machine for running XP so I can use a few really old pieces of software that I like. Correction on the games. I do play the pinball game in XP. :)
glad it works for you fren, if you want to support the pedo elite go for it. I've switched over to open source completely and I couldnt be happier. blender for 3d modeling, gimp for graphic editing, obs for recording, openshot for video editing, theres literally an alternative to every mainstream windows product
There's no Linux version for my most important programs. Having Windows on my computer doesn't mean I'm supporting the company. :) I have lots of CDs with all the versions of Windows. A lot of software comes from unusual sources. For example, I took a Visual Basic course years ago, and we were all given the full software for free. I can also clone hard drives. I can't afford to pay a lot for software, so I don't. Most of the software I use a lot was either free, or very old but does exactly what I want. I use GIMP almost every day.
I know there's "literally an alternative," but if those alternatives won't do what I want, they are useless. I have special software needs.
thats what wine is for https://www.winehq.org
I might have to try that out in a virtual machine.
happened to me all morning long at work https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/975482767058022400/1022233878376751245/unknown.png until i disabled my web protection
saw this and realized i was not the only one https://www.reddit.com/r/Malwarebytes/comments/xk6mmu/anyone_else_having_malwarebytes_say_googlecom_is/
Yes I could not figure out what the problem was, I don't use google unless I need the map. My Malwarebytes went crazy flashing every 5 seconds saying google malware. I went to go on google clear my browsing history just trying to make it stop. Here is what it was blocking: www-goog...ogle.com gstaticads...google.com support.google.com and on and on and on for about 2 hours-I did try to view a link from here with youtube and that is when it started. I deleted every temp file all browser ect. I thought it was me. Good to know I didn't download a virus π²π₯π
