Well that wasn't much of an article, a few short paragraphs with no cited statistics or sources. So the author thinks there are 415 million guns in America? Haha... you MIGHT get that number if you go by registered guns and number of background checks, etc., but there is a hefty and brisk sale of guns in several states, private sales, inherited guns, and such that no one really knows the number.
I'd be willing to bet the number is closer to a billion guns, and with a few trillion rounds of ammo in private safes and collections. And I find that number reassuring. I am all for an armed America. An armed society is a polite society.
