Let's look at this logically and just focus on data instead of the speculation.
-We know that there's a large influx of military personnel and hardware into Beijing.
-We know that civilian flights out of Beijing have been shut down. The rationale for this is to allow the military exclusive use of the airspace over Beijing. But another possibility is that it's to prevent anyone from leaving.
That's about all we know for certain right now. So possible scenarios that would fit these two data points:
There's a large scale military coup that's in progress and these troop movements into Beijing are happening to reinforce that military coup.
There was a smaller scale military coup attempted and a larger military force is entering the capital to either stop it or cleanup the personnel associated with the failed coup.
There was a civilian attack on the CCP government and the military is responding.
There are probably some scenarios possible where some of these items are blended together. I'd be curious to hear what others thing based on the two data points that we currently have. Hopefully we'll continue to get more actual data instead of the mountain of speculation I'm currently seeing from reporters.
Someone said to shore up in case of Russia attack and Ukraine problem. You wouldn't be going to Hebei. There's a long distance between that and Russia. You have to go through Inner Mongolia and Mongolia.

Amen to someone who analyze critically.
