The doctrine of mutually assured destruction. Russia drops a nuke: NATO drops 2. In response Russia drops 2 more and on and on until both sides are mutually destroyed.
So if youre Russia do you really only drop 1 nuclear warhead? If "worse than Hitler" Putin decides to use nuclear arms does he use only 1 or does he use hundreds in preemptive strikes and anticipatory self defense?
Why would he only use 1?
If "one" nuclear denotation occurs what are the chances that its Russian? Zero.
Cry havoc! And let slip the dogs of war.
Oh, but they’ll trace it back to Russia. It will be the same uranium that Russians got from Hillary. The US would NEVER set off a bomb within the US, so it has to have come from Russia, which must be punished.
Tom Clancy’s novel The Sum of All Fears explains in detail that a nuclear explosion can be traced to the source of the material. The bomb that fizzles at the Super Bowl (still killing everyone in the stadium but not destroying the stadium building) is traced back to Israel and a nuclear bomb that was lost in the 6 Days War (later found by the terrorists that refined it for the Super Bowl bomb).
Interesting, in the movie the villains are changed from Middle East (Iranian) terrorists to neo-Nazis who have taken over after the Russian President dies suddenly. I don’t remember the details of the movie since I am more interested in the novel than the pablum the movie companies did with Clancy’s novels (except the first movie Patriot Games).
The best part will be when POTUS and congress approve the use of nuclear measures and nothing happens .....
