Yeah its fake, that doll is called "elf on a shelf" parents are supposed to act like its real and sneak it into diffrent spots so the kids think it can move on its own
That's not weird or creepy at all...
Weird or creepy to someone who has lost the magic of childhood, sure. But tons of kids still believe in christmas magic. I would rather it be an "angel on the shelf" toy instead of an elf and magic but 🤷♂️ We had a couple as kids and it was fun trying to catch the elf when we think itll move
I’ll take Pepe on the Shelf. Might have to start a new tradition in my house.
I find it really funny actually. My daughter got one for her children when they were younger. Pretty lighthearted, the elf would show up in odd places and the kids got a kick out of it.
Oh man I could tell some stories a few family members do with this doll. I mean literally, they destroy their house. Break furniture. Make messes in their fridge. All blaming the doll as it just sits there upon the wreckage. And how this is a fun idea? How is this related to Christmas? I call them out constantly. Their kids are literally scared of the doll. Because if they somehow interact with it, the devastation comes upon their stuff. Sick. What pagan, wacko idea this was. All I get in return is, hey it’s fun. And they purchased new items for all the broken stuff “they” did. And I mean like tv’s n stuff. Items the kids absolutely know their mom or dad wouldn’t break. I’m actually surprised they haven’t killed the dog. Seriously.
