Correct. Due to US policy and sanctions all US people were forced to leave/resign from semiconductor companies basically killing operational capabilities.
So, with this China has no other way than to make a move on Taiwan. And there is nothing the US can do against it.
China can only be attacked by sea and is a fortress with short logistic lines. This is not going to be a desert storm blitzkrieg against a poorly defended and poorly developed country like Iraq.
Logistically (and economically) not feasible for the US. China has full control over that region, no matter how many US frigates, submarines or air power you throw against it.

Any sort of military operation with China will likely kill all trade they have with North America.. After decades of outsourcing the north american economy out for cheap slave labor, seems like that will be our "Achilles heel."
Also we have to consider the US congressional push against Saudi Arabia, is only gonna push SA to BRICS. So that's a big oil import that's potentially screwed. -- It's not like we have don't have oil here in North America, we just have a traitorous climate cult doing everything they can to kill our economic independence.

Well, they are "Western ending events" as both the US, UK, and EU have completely outplayed themselves.
US close to hyperinflation that depended on a strong position of the US dollar which has been weakened significantly. EU close to economic breakdown as the energy infrastructure has been set back significantly by NS1 and NS2 (most industry still heavily relies on cheap gas) resulting in non-competitiveness while having to deal with the long-term effect of immigration policy. And the UK close to insolvency now reaching out to China for economic support.
Like I said, the next decade (or longer) is going to get really spicy.
