I am known as the rescue kitty person here in my neighborhood. Someone found this approximately 3 week old kitten in a dumpster. The guy who rescued him initially can't take care of him but did get him some kitten milk and a bottle and attempted to feed him. He found me on a social media post and contacted me about the kitten.
Thank God he has a good set of lungs. And the temps were not too low this am.
He is now sleeping peacefully in a warm bed (blanket on top of a heating pad) with a full belly in one of my bedrooms until I can find a long term foster mom for him.

I volunteered at a shelter. Someone saw a person put a kitten in a trash can and then drive off in the pouring rain.
They rescued him and when the story hit the local paper, we got about 22 calls wanting to adopt him. Happy ending at least.
