Well, better than an uniformed person such as yourself. Read what I wrote. No one is infringing on anyone's right. They are doing what they think is necessary for safety reasons. A Governor is every bit as important as a President. They are the leaders of sovereign states. No one is saying that you can't have, buy, or sell a gun. No one is saying you are not allowed to own or carrying a gun...just anywhere but there. It is a CHOICE. If you don't like it, don't go. It is NOT going to affect you. Companies are allowed to bar firearms from their campuses. States have the right to bar firearms from courtrooms and state offices. People can't yell "Fire!" in a crowded theater. Do you consider that a violation of your 1st Amendment Rights? Newsflash...it isn't. If the venue owner where the speech is being made requires the event to be gun free, then they have the right to do so. YOU have the right to not go.
