I remember trying to explain to someone less knowledgeable the reference temperatures for the 3080 last year. They were freaking out about the temps even though they were well within normal range. They wanted to waste money on a waterblock specifically for it. I was facepalming and cringing so much

i ended up compromising by doing a 3 fan set up at the end of the pci slots. it dropped about 3 more degrees but it only cost $20 as opposed to $300
