I have no idea how the garden-variety $100-ish donations work, but I'm assuming that the process does not include a personal vetting of each and every donation by the candidate.
This, of course, is not the case when you talk about 'Soros-funded AG's' - where there are huge amounts of cash poured in to fund an entire campaign. In situations like that, you can certainly draw a conclusion about the candidate.
I'm not 'excusing' anyone - I just don't think this list is a smoking gun.
