And I get that, but wouldn’t you agree that without that historical context - because not everybody who is here today was here then - it can come across as a bit questionable? We’ve come a LONG way (and not in a good way), even in the past several months, in terms of the cultural rhetoric against “QAnon”. Things are very fluid right now so maybe, in terms of posting “historical” content, we should focus on relevance in the current climate.
Thanks Eph.
Oh, yeah, for sure. You are quite right, and the <facepalm> wasn't warranted. I can slip into that sort of .... frankly condescending mental practice .... if I feel frustrated.
How could you be expected to know that context? (I guess that's a larger question: is historical knowledge of the history and development of the Great Awakening important or critical knowledge for any would-be digital soldiers now fighting on the front lines?)
I think I simply wanted to point out that the meme itself was NOT designed to make us look like loonies, or to discredit Q/DJT.
On the other hand, if we are talking about this meme now being revived and shared on Twiffer and social media, then you might be right that THIS CURRENT PUSH is being done in order to (attempt) to discredit.
I agree we have to be focused on the current battle. I guess I have to concede that you drew some conclusions based on the data you had at hand. If you thought the meme was current, what other conclusions could you draw except the ones you did?
But there's a great opportunity here for a lesson. This is the sort of thing we had to process and deal with in real-time when Q was posting: Many times we jumped to conclusions, posted stuff out, only to find out or figure out a week or days later that, ooops, i jumped the gun!
So if there is a lesson here, its about 'slow and steady wins the race'. Your conclusions, and comment, were wrong, but only because you didn't have the data that provided the right context. Unless you were talking about the current distribution, and not the actual meme itself, but I don't think you were?)
Anyway, we've all been there!!!
Thanks for responding and increasing the resolution and clarity. And for responding in such a steadying manner, adding to the conversation and not reacting (to my excesses!).
What a thoughtful reply. Thank you. You’re right in that I didn’t come on the Q scene until after drops stopped coming in regularly. I’m way late to the party, but no less impressed by what I’ve learnt here. Reading the drops now, I’m in absolute awe of the anons/autists here who were able to glean so much critical intel from them, and who can still - based on that early knowledge - decode so much relevant to what goes on currently. So yeah, I wasn’t critiquing the meme so much as I just “felt” the taunting of the left who might attempt to spin it to sound like “conspiracy”. Thank you for being so open to understanding my sincerity, and my lack of sophistication with most things Q. Much respect, Fren.
