Telling does NOT work. "Casually" inspiring their curiosity so they start having questions, looking for answers, then wanting to share what they've discovered, does work.

Its not possible to give people answers until they have real questions. Its not possible to "help" people until they sincerely want help.
Trying to force answers/help on people only triggers "leave me the fukk alone" reactions that vary depending on the individual and the relationship you have with them.
Learning sales and persuasion techniques can greatly increase success and decrease frustration.
