I like how they present it as "ethical" AI tooling. Anyone who has ever studied ethics can attest that there are multiple ethics. You choose which one or set of them you prefer. The ethics of Sharia Islam, for example, are very different from Greek stoicism, which are very different from Eastern philosophy-inspired ethics.

This team was building an AI to censor the expression of ideas they didn't like by calling it "ethical." Practical example: it is ethical to support historically disadvantaged and marginalized groups and therefore their interests should be highlighted and never questioned.

Look at Kanye. He committed the sin of saying "unethical" things about a historically marginalized group and now he's being destroyed for it. Under traditional Christian European ethics with Roman roots we would question whether "wrongthink" was a crime or sin in the first place and secondly, we would debate whether the punishment for this crime wasn't far more than the harm caused by the alleged crime itself. But not with these "ethicists," because obviously, ethics is just a smoke screen for a thought control apparatus.
