4. Ordering an individual to be examined, tested, treated, isolated, or quarantined for communicable diseases that have significant morbidity or mortality and present a severe danger to public health. Individuals who are unable or unwilling to be examined, tested, or treated for reasons of health, religion, or conscience may be subjected to isolation or quarantine.
I couldn't find any statement requiring forced vaccinations; only the sections that PROHIBIT forced vaccinations.
I'm thinking this "DeSantis signed a bill allowing forced vaccinations" is just vicious rumor at this point.
I said start reading at line 1097. If you keep reading further down you get to this at line 1107.
“If the individual poses a danger to the public health, the State Health Officer may subject the individual to isolation or quarantine. If there is no practical method to isolate or quarantine the individual, the State Health Officer may use any means necessary to vaccinate or treat the individual.”
So no, it is not just vicious rumor. You COULD find the statement directly within the law. It IS written plain as day. YOU are choosing to ignore that and leave a comment implying that it is not true which is no different than lying to other anons that may read this. Do better.
That seems to contradict the item 4, which includes being able to opt out for reasons of health, religion, or conscience, which may result in isolation or quarantine, but DOES allow a person to avoid forced treatment or vaccination. So at this point, I would need to have a law expert explain the totality of the legislation.
That’s a great solution actually. I have two friends who practice law in Florida and Indiana. It’d be nice to hear their explanations. Of course it’d just be me paraphrasing what they say to explain it on here though so you’d just have to take it at face value. Or maybe I could get something written and share the image.
Here is a section of the Florida law:
