Frankly this is a stupid idea. Wifi access points are shown using SSIDs, and anyone with an ounce of computer knowledge (such as the cheaters) would be able to turn off SSIDs being shown to people scanning for wifi with their phones

You can connect to a hotspot that isn't broadcasting its SSID if you know the name of the SSID beforehand
