If you follow the MO of the Russian Military, it is a strategy they have used over and over. They will remove their soldiers to safety as well as equipment, only to retake it later. Kherson was the hardest place to take. The advantage for Ukraine was they were positioned on a hill overlooking the Russians. To avoid any Russians lives being lost, General Armageddon felt that the lives of his men were much more important than the media spin. 1000 Russian lives were saved.

Remember. Kherson was evacuated to protect the inhabitants and they were moved safely into Russia. The Russians have time on their hands and are waiting for the ground to freeze and once this happens, Ukraine will then experience the full might of around 1 million Russian soldiers. The MOBILISATION of 300,000 RESERVISTS was never closed; up to 218,000 civilians have fronted at recruitment centres across Russia, without any letters asking them to report to join. That was around the time of the much publicised mobilisation. There is no indication how many men after the 218,000 fronted was made known, have passed the obligatory tests etc. and are in training. Remember. Russia is fighting for their country and that brings with it a whole lot more of pride and love of country.

The Ukrainians can go no further as there is a river. The Dneiper River. They are blocked and are sitting ducks. While the media will be high fiving this as a victory for Zelensky, the West will feel justified at pouring millions of equipment and throwing men into a meat grinder just because, but their celebrations will change rapidly at those first signs of snow and the short lived celebration will shrink as they realised they have been lead into a trap and those 1,000 soldiers removed will see another day but the same cannot be said for the Nazi Ukrainian regime.
