β 'The solution to possible controversies within society must make use of the legal instruments of the Democratic State of Law'
β 'The Armed Forces remain vigilant, attentive and focused on their constitutional role'
β 'The Brazilian Parliament was quite clear in establishing that: 'It is not a crime [...] to criticize the constitutional powers or journalistic activity or claim constitutional rights and guarantees, through marches, meetings, strikes, agglomerations or any other form of political manifestation for social purposes'.
β 'Both possible restrictions on rights [of protesting] by public agents and possible excesses committed in demonstrations that may restrict individual and collective rights or put public safety at risk are condemnable; as well as any actions, by individuals or entities, public or private, that feed disharmony in society.'
Could you explain this response to me like I'm five, OP? I'm having a bit of trouble dissecting.
I'm also missing some context on the Brazil situation.
Brazilian military are supposedly "looking into" Election fraud....
I think the response weβre seeing from the Brazilian military is βletβs take a wait and see position with regard to the election. We feel something is amiss but weβre not going to jump to conclusions right now. We will wait on an official forensic audit before we get involvedβ. IMO
They were supposed to announce their findings on Wednesday, weren't they?
Basically, we the military are not going to do anything, so you need to follow your constitutional processes to seek the truth.
Am I right?
