My last vaccine was in basic training in 1976, but I asked my doctor in 2013 about the shingles vaxx, at the behest of my mother who had contracted shingles. He told me back, "I can give you a shingles vaccination, but it might give you shingles."

I didn't do it, and at the time I wasn't anti-vaxx. After witnessing what passes for science in virology and pharmacy during covid, I certainly am, and will never willingly take any kind of vaxx.
