Not nearly enough time. Grandma has bills hidden, she has forgotten where, and they won't be found until she passes and every single thing in the house has been gone through.
I'm suspicious of this news. Banks take old currency out of the system, not the Biden Administration. The Fed does this in conjunction with Congress because it is Congress that has the final say on the issuance of money, not the Biden Administration.
I have in my wallet newly printed 100 dollar bills that have "Series 2017" on them. I have one dollar bills having "Series 2008" on them. "Series 2009" 5 dollar bills, "Series 2007" 20 dollar bills.
There isn't enough Series 2021, 2022 paper denominations to cover all the dollars out there. This would cause a huge crisis.
This is either BS information or its another egregious overreach by Biden.
Quite right. IMHO, this would eliminate 90 to 95% of the paper denominations out there. I'm being generous with this estimate too. I have not seen a Series 2021 dollar denomination yet. There are very few if any out there.
The consequence would be to force everyone to take a digital currency. In theory, the Series 2021 denominations may be a digital only version.
This cannot stand because it is a violation of separation of powers. Biden has no authority.
If paper money is ever recalled, it will be for the purpose of devaluation and issuance of new currency. That's why have a lot of money stored in coins. Coins are never recalled in devaluations and thus increase in value. If paper is devalued 100X, my coins increase in value by 100X and I'll be bloody rich. :)
That might be why the banking system was hoarding coins during the "virus." The mint was still stamping out coins like always, but they weren't getting to the businesses to make change. Even today, my local drugstore won't give coins in change. If you pay in paper money, the price will be rounded up.
Yup, the asshats just digging for a way to steal all the paper money from everyone so they can implement their global centralized digital and control everyone.
Does anyone have any $1 bills (or any denomination) issued after 2017? I don't, and I get new stock regularly. Also interesting that the 2021 issue date since that is when we've been under formal foreign occupation...
I see a bunch of fact-checkers claiming that this is "Nigerian disinformation." Which probably means it's true and they just don't want anybody to know about it.
“This note is legal tender for all debts public and private” I see no expiration date on any of my Federal Reserve notes.
Hey everybody, I have an idea… why don’t we just use a Central Bank Digital Currency and get rid of all that dirty money once and for all :)
Correct, then make any old style cash obsolete and they won't have to pay out on it.
The precipice isn’t reached until hundreds of thousands and likely millions of we the people are in the streets demanding to:
END THE FED/ END THE WARS!!!
Wtf lol. How in the hell is this even Possible to do

I wouldn't put egregious overreach by Biden out of the question...he's done it before...and this could be part of their digital dollar scam.

This is just the slow rollout.of the digital currency. Anyone holding cash will need to deposit it or it will be worthless.
A smart person would go to the bank and trade it in. Stay under 5k per transaction though.
I call fake news.

Theres been threads about this. I dont think theres any paper with a date over 2017 on it on any denomination. Really really strange!
