The reason people say its an OP is not because of how Q pushed people to think. Its directly related to actions Q said would take place. Super top secret messages and coded messaging pointing to all these people who are corrupt going to jail and the suffering ending. Over time, more and more see no action happening in the public eye.

That is what fuels the "its a LARP" conversation.
