I’m old and have seen the push for solar for 30+ years— or so it seems—- still hasn’t really taken off — I think the EV is a similar “wet dream “ for the Green folks but isn’t practical/ sustainable or most importantly “ desirable “ by most of the country— hide and watch on this one..
It works great for those lights you stick in the ground along your walkways. I also have a radio from about 25 years ago that ran on a small solar cell.
Yeah the driveway ones last about 3-6 months here — south Texas heat and below freezing in 1-2, months kills them— of course you can replace the battery (🤣) so what’s the point 😂😂😂

They seem to last for years here in eastern NC. And we do have heat in the summer and freezing in the winter. We had a hard freeze last night.
Not true. We are in a transition from having vehicles to not having vehicles.
Nothing says freedom like having your very own personal vehicle.
