I can assure you having done ad buys from any number of periodicals, print, radio, newspaper, etc. Someone had to proof those ads. You don't just pick up the phone and authorize carte blanche authority over your brand. There is an agency producing the spot, in house and outside market surveying of the ad, and several levels of approval before an ad gets to print. Unless the agency screwed the pooch on a level unheard of, there is no way that gets published to multiple formats without a green light from marketing.
