When did anyone ever get to ""vote"" on anything meaningful ever?
There was no ""vote"" on multiculturalism.
There was no ""vote"" on entering WW1, WW2, invading vietnam, korea, iraq et al.
There was no ""vote"" on overreaching gun control.
There was no ""vote"" on sending endless amounts of money in the form of ""foreign aid"" to every shithole country in the world, despite them holding nothing but disdain for Whites, Christians and Western countries in general.
How is that different in the US? Seems that so many are focused on federal doings and ignore what's going on right under their noses in their towns/counties.

Most people ignore what is in front of them and always focus elsewhere, it's human nature.
