Not sure about others, but I realized that Q could not be an AI, even with military grade super computers scraping every NSA database would never be able to come up with a plan that has seen multiple revelations from singular posts 3,4,5 years in advance.
A project involving time travel is really the only means that could accomplish those things....

No.
When Q said McCain would be "in the news" and one month later, exactly to the minute (even with accounting for time zones and daylight savings) ... McCain was announced dead.
What is the more likely explanation ...
Q used time travel to know when McCain would be pronounced dead from cancer and then pre-announced it 30 days early.
or
McCain was already tried by a military tribunal, found guilty, Q oversaw his execution. They were in control of the date of his execution and the reporting of the exact time of death.
Not only does Q controlling things pass the Occam's razor test, the Q post serves a purpose with the execution explanation. It shows patriots are in control.
The time travel explanation of that Q post would serve no purpose other than to establish that Q can time travel.
In that specific example, yes, the simpler explanation is as you said it.
I'm not equipped to debate this in depth at the moment, but can come to some greater "Q proofs" that have showed up similarly with timestamp markers that are much further out than the original posts. The ones that come to mind relate to Twitter and 4 year deltas (sorry for vaguery at the moment, I will back up as needed).
There crosses a point where, thinking in terms of warfare, that no human could feasibly come up with a plan that also considers potential setbacks several years in sequence. Even a team of people brainstorming potentials in terms of game theory, at this stage, any original plans would have gone stale.
That's where it becomes more elegant that a theory including time travel is considered best. Consider how many would have expected the Trump move against biclan to have happened already.
I believe no name had 30 days to appeal a military tribunal conviction. He was executed exactly 30 days after he was sentenced - to the minute - by firing squad.
Prophets predict things.
Q is saying they don't predict things. There goes the entire "Q is AI" bullshit psyop out the window.
Q knows things are going to happen because they were planned to happen, which implies Q is controlling things instead of predicting.

Fucking fantastically put @magavoices

Control.

Senator John Sidney McCain III died at 4:28pm on August 25, 2018
It is really close, but not as close as you are saying.
That drop also does not say anything about McCain being in the news soon.

It would also establish that Q is malarkey. People here have no regard for how seriously this nonsense destroys credibility.
McCain was an old man. Isn’t it possible that he actually had brain surgery, was old AF and just died? Happens to everyone at least once.
Careful. I’ll make you prove it.
It really pains me to have to say this, but I will just in case you're actually serious.
The emphasis isn't on him dying.
It's on the prediction of McCain "in the news" exactly one month, to the second, from the post and the announced date of death.
