In the days following 9/11/2001, I was deep in grief and fear and despair. I had a four year old child at the time. I went in to tuck him in one night, and in a three-quarters asleep, yawning little voice, he said, "The God of peace will soon crush Satan. He will crush him underneath your feet." One of those moments you never, never forget.
We had learned this song at a camp in August. So he didnt just pull it completely out of nowhere. But still, it was amazing to me that he said it to me weeks later, at the perfect time. https://youtu.be/d--02Yodxps
Thank you! You can add a Scripture Flair if you click on the flair button, then choose the flare you want, then the save button. (You may have to reduce the zoom to see all the buttons, I do)
I do find it oddly ironic that in a board with some of us who feel like we've waiting forever for anything to happen that someone would post a nearly two thousand year old quote from the book of Romans with the word "soon" in it. I really hope Q has a timeline that isn't measured in millennia. God has that luxury. We do not.
Ironically that you are a part of the problem in society. Everyone wants instant gratification. God does things in His time and all you should be worried about is when He will return. Everything else is just nonsense.
The people that are the problem are the ones doing evil and the good ones that sit back and allow it to happen thinking God is going to act. God has already acted and the next time he's said he will act is in the end times. Everything until then is on us, using the gifts he blessed us with and the prayers of ours he chooses to answer.
If stuff like this were helping me IN THE HERE AND NOW, then I would actually care about it.
But if Scripture is to actually be believed, then that ultimately means that all of my personal suffering will have been in vain (for nothing), since this will happen long after my bones have rotted to dust.
As a free human being, you can believe whatever you want. However, if you want to come at me with that, you're going to need something just a tad bit more substantial & solid than "cuz the Bible tells me so" (which is a lyric in a CHILDREN'S song, mind you!) before I entertain the possibility of it being legitimate.

It is helping you in the here and now. Only Satan is telling you it is not.
Prove it.
