People can dislike this message. Or they can dislike the messenger. That is fine. Hopefully everyone will understand what I am saying.
As the Great Awakening train speeds up, there will be a lot of people popping by to see what is going on over here. People that have absolutely no clue who we are, what we think, how we think, and why we gather here will be browsing. This is prime time to add bodies to the ranks from the formerly narcoleptic normies.
However...unsubstantiated/unsupported/unverifiable claims presented as factual are going to blow this massive opportunity. It makes all of us look as buffoonish as the left. And it will only deepen the confirmation bias of normies.
Our community exists to hypothesize, postulate, debate, and evaluate information in pursuit of the truth...wherever that might lead. It is healthy to entertain a wide variety of theories, brain farts, hypotheticals, or whatever. It is also the way that we process all the non stop propaganda bs being sprayed from a firehose across the world. But before you post, comment, upvote, or downvote...be sure you have some kind of reliable substance behind it. If you don't, that is ok. Just be sure that your dialogue distinguishes your thoughts and opinions from a factual assertion.
Put yourself back in your own shoes however many years ago before you realized something wasn't adding up. Ask yourself how you'd feel if you stumbled upon a community where all sorts of seemingly outlandish stuff was being said. You looked into some of it, and it all came back as bogus or completely unsupported. Do you go back to that place after figuring that out?
None of the above is directed at anyone in particular. Nor am I calling for self or community censoring. All I am saying is that this movement is larger than one person. And everyone here needs to keep in mind that what they say or do here can have an affect on all of us. Especially with the hopes that what we are doing is going to continue bringing people out of their slumber with an awareness of the false reality they have been living. To be the most effective, we need to do our homework, cross all I's and dot all T's.
Be vigilant, anons! One day it will all make complete sense.
edit: Did I really just say cross all I's and dot all T's? 😳
No official msgs from military at all. In fact, if anything in this direction should happen it MUST be an official declaration from the President Bolsonaro. Also the rumors that the military is acting in the slums is not true! We have a special forces from the Police here called BOPE that are dressed up like Military. THEY where the ones killing the leaders of the RED Command in Rio.
So basically it is police and not military that are taking out drug dealers? Granted I know very little about Brazil, but it did always seem odd that the military would engage in that work. The only thing that made it seem plausible is that Mexico does this all the time against the cartels there.
Some good friends of mine are Brazilian. I have picked up Portuguese over the last couple of years since I actually can practice with them. Sadly, all I have picked up about the country as a whole is about steaks and how much more awesome they are there lol
I can’t quite put my finger on specifically what, but it all feels like a giant psyop what is being reported in the US about Brazil. Why are we getting told things from otherwise mostly reliable US sources? Gateway pundit has a mixed record. My complaints about them mostly are about editorializing (often with no real substance to back up the position) in lieu of reporting facts. And if I am remembering right, Steve Bannon has also furthered this idea of eminent military intervention.
Sometimes I wonder if this stuff isn’t put out there so that we all spread it around and look retarded in the process. Which, if true, means we need to reevaluate the purpose of some of these smaller publications & pundits (TGP, Bannon).
I agree absolutely with your interpretation. Military intervention will/cannot occur unless the President declares it. I cant judge about TGP an Bannon, because they are also victims of disinfo. Many times I saw stuff being repeated from Brazilian sources, that did not have REAL Sauce on the facts really happening here.
How much of an issue are drug cartels there? And what kind of drugs are they pushing? Are they affiliated with Colombian cartels?
I have seen some troubling videos of drug gang shootouts in Paraguay on the border with Brazil. Maybe I am just naive, but I always thought that drug cartels were a product of American and European consumption. Pablo Escobar existed as a function of living at the beginning of the supply chain - where the coke is made. Mexican cartels exist as a function of the huge cash influx they receive helping the Colombian cartels smuggle the coke into the US.
I am aware that marijuana also appears to be somewhat lucrative to the Mexican cartels. Or at least it did for awhile. Human trafficking/smuggling as well. But it seems like the huge money from Colombian cocaine was what allowed the cartels to grow and be able to engage in the other side businesses. Perhaps this take is wholly inaccurate. It is my perception from what I have seen.
Where I am going is trying to uncover what kinds of businesses these Brazilian cartels engage in. It isn’t smuggling drugs to the US or Europe. They don’t grow much (any?) coca in Brazil that I am aware of. And the amount of money pushing drugs on the streets of Brazil cannot be remotely lucrative, can it? Does Brazil have enough people with disposable incomes to afford a drug lifestyle such that powerful cartels are the inevitable product of such lifestyles?
Cocaine, crack, and weed are the main ones.
Greetings, Anon! I'm not into the cartels very much. All I know is the so called "Forum of São Paulo" founded by Lula and Castro, are the ones that really controll all the cartels. They mascerade as a political, socialist Forum, but they bribe all politicians in SA and also Europe. As soon Carvajal is extradited from Spain to the US we will see many big names fall.
