What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
When it comes to vivid dreams, I have a hard time understanding why people dont remember their dreams. I have been able to remember my dreams vividly ever since I was a child. Those who cant do that, are missing out a lot.
As for nightmares - yeah, a lot of times unresolved stuff in waking life manifests as nightmares - sometimes way out of scale. I would suggest mindfulness, especially before going to bed.
The first few nights of nightmares weren't quite like when I was a child, where I'd wake up still afraid of what was going on. More just disconcerting, in the sense that I preferred to fully wake myself up, drink some water and reset before trying to sleep more. That's really part of the motivation to ask the question because if the unresolved frustrations could be the cause, or the quitting smoking, I know there are other things that can generate more vivid dreams, but not that I've been doing recently to justify the shift.
Usually, I'm aware that I had dreams, just don't really remember the content. This past week or so, after the nightmares, the dreams have been almost so vivid that I would wake up still thinking about what was going on in 'real' terms and took a moment to shake that I had been dreaming.
