I’m no Bible scholar by any means. And I don’t pretend to be. I just thought that the term Christian came during Jesus’s time here. Those that followed Christ. And continue to do so. Of course I see where the coming messiah was in Genesis. And will crush Satan. I just thought the term was during and after Christ. Before that I just figured it was believers in God and the various names of Him. Not the false gods shown to be nothing.
Also not sure on the Jew stuff, as in the actual word. I’m a gentile so, I try not to get bogged down. 😁
Actually it didn't arise until some years after Jesus death: Acts 11:25-26 Then Barnabas departed for Tarsus to seek Saul. And when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. So it was that for a whole year they assembled with the church and taught a great many people. And** the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch.**
I think OP is saying that not the coined term, but the way Adam and Eve practice the faith is 'christian'. You are correct tho. Christian is a fairly new term. Relatively speaking of course kek
